I had the most amazing stay at a charming B&B nestled in the beautiful wine-making countryside. The room I stayed in, 'Rose', was impeccably furnished with a super comfy bed that made for a warm and cosy retreat. The hosts, Lotte and Wouter, were incredibly accommodating and prepared a delicious meal of Mushroom quiche, Sanglier Bourguignone, and Crème Brulée. The breakfast, served around a large dining table, was a delightful start to the day. I even had the opportunity to visit a local wine producer and take home a few bottles. Despite a minor issue with the WiFi signal, the serene countryside surrounding the B&B beckoned me to put on my hiking boots and explore. And to my surprise, I was able to cool off with a refreshing swim in the pool! I would highly recommend this B&B for its exceptional hospitality and picturesque location.

The house was filled with beautiful vintage furniture and lovely floral accents that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas, such as the terrace and garden, were well-maintained and provided a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with its spacious rooms and easy navigation through the property. It made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have loved to see the children working there offer more senior-friendly activities or services. A small exercise or wellness program designed specifically for older guests would have been a wonderful addition to make our vacation even more delightful.

The rooms at Les Portails Bleus have a charming and traditional décor, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. We loved waking up to the beautiful views of the village's vineyards, it felt like a dream. The free Wi-Fi access was a great addition, allowing us to stay connected throughout our stay. The en suite bathroom was spacious and modern, and the Egyptian cotton bedding added a touch of luxury. the rooms were just the right size for us, providing comfort and relaxation after a long day of exploring.
While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Portails Bleus, it would have been even better if there were more options for breakfast.
